I once had a cat named “manja”. He didn’t have glamour name macam kucing kucing lain. We named him simply because he is manja.
But I think he wouldn’t forgive what I did to him, marah dia sebab dia selalu kencing dalam rumah. It’s not his fault, I didn’t knew about it until it was too late. He had bladder problem. He couldn’t wee properly. That’s why la dia asyik kencing sikit sikit, and kebetulan he was always inside our house.
Anyway manja likes to sleep with me and my sister. He would lay his head under my arm and tuck himself to bed. By 6 usually dia akan bangun & kejut kita dengan jilat hidung kita untuk buka pintu because he’s either hungry or nak keluar pergi kencing, I guess. I never bother at that hour.
Ni cerita lama back in 2005. He was pronounced dead in May 2005. I guess I was too late to tell him how much I love him. He’s sick and we didn’t know about it. If only kitaorang tahu awal, dah lama kitaorang bawa ke klinik lebih awal. I guess he’s the kind of cat yang tak suka menyusahkan his owner cuma bila tahap dah kencing dalam rumah tu, he was at one of his worst stage. The last time I saw him, he was so untidy, memang dah tenat masa tu. Bau dia sangatlah hancing, he must’ve probably laid on his own pee for few days entah dimana. He came to me for cuddle masa tu, I guess masa tu dia memang nak say goodbye. I left for college after tu and I never saw him again.
Next thing I knew, I was at the clinic crying after his dead body. He died in his sleep. Doctor told me and my sister, he was so brave! Kitaorang apa lagi, menangis lagi lah.
Sesi penanaman dihadiri oleh semua ahli keluarga. I carried the box with him in it. I help laid him to rest at the back of our house. My dad help buried him.
Bringing this story up again made me teary. I love cats. Kalau boleh nak bela lagi disini tapi keadaan tidak mengizinkan buat masa sekarang.
I’ve several photos of manja tapi tak terdaya nak cari satu satu in my hard disk sebab Adrian tak boleh tengok his mummy pegang computer, dia sure nak menyebok..hehe.
