I recently came across a picture I saw of halal beer, a non-alcoholic drinks, or so they say called “Barbican” and “Hoffenberg”.
You can get it in KL but I honestly don’t know where. Anyway, it made me think people has come this far to create halal drink for Muslim and it shows how badly the Muslim wants to drinks beer but we can’t.
Can’t you just sell the drink like any other drinks and don’t called it halal beer? Are Muslim that desperate to drink beer? Rupa botol pun dah sebiji so bila minum they expect you to act like you drink the real alcoholic beer ke? Come on lah, I’m sure you can find millions of other creative names to name that drinks. Halal beer…pfft… Why don’t you create halal pork pula?
Like one of the vegetarian restaurant here a friend told me they have eggs, chicken, meat etc too! But the eggs is not eggs, chicken is not chicken and meat is not meat etc. I don’t remember what it made from but they made it taste like real eggs, chicken and meat. If you’re really a vegetarian why bother with how’s eggs, chicken and meat taste?

Picture were taken from Google & Beerbeer.org
I googled and saw how proud Muslims are drinking it like people drinking beer. I mean diaorang act macam lah. Memang tak salah minum air tu. Tapi cara tu. Buat apa nak tiru cara setan, bukan? Let say ada orang buat halal pork dalam makanan Bak Kut Teh yang memang famous for its pork, bila dah halal confirm orang Islam akan makan dan kita pun pose lah dalam gambar dengan caption “I’m eating Bak Kut Teh halal”.
Minum arak memang haram, setan suka semua tu. Perlukah kita tiru gaya setan tapi yang bezanya cuma minuman tu halal?
Lepas ni pergi ke kelab malam minumlah halal beer ni ye.
