The making of takoyaki

>This is my third attempt of making something similar to takoyaki. I use the Dutch pancake maker, it’s the same thing actually.

First attempt, I failed big time! Not only it taste yucky but the looks also turns horrible, they all were attached to each other. I only ate a couple while the rest hubby. Late at night, my takoyaki had caused hubby with diarrhea.

Second attempt was not bad, I made kaya ball. It wasn’t perfectly round but it wasn’t attached together so I think I did good for a second timer. The taste, sama macam kaya ball dekat Malaysia lah.

Third attempt, the oh so called cucur bawang. This time, I called it perfecto! Not only the round was perfect, everything in it was perfect too.

Ignore the mess.

Tadaaaaa

I know the trick now, always spray a lil oil from the oil can before pouring anything in it. It makes it easier for you to turn it around.

I couldn’t find the exact flour & sauce for the takoyaki so i bought these similar two ingredients. I read somewhere, it’s fine using this ingredients. The flakes sama je la mana2 brand pun.
