Ever since my bub was born, i am attached to mummies forum like the Baby Center US & Australia, Essential Baby, The Bump and most importantly Huggies Australia. I’m an avid silent reader of all these forums.
Last week I receive a tweet from huggies about predicting your child’s height. I was beyond excited, ye la anak pertama, semua benda jadi excited. Kalau pregnant dulu excited nak try the gender predictor. Hehe. Untuk suka2, apa salahnya.
Anyway, there are 2 formulas available for each boys and girls. Let me copy and paste the formula for you.
For boys: Take each parent’s height in centimeters and add them together. Divide that number by 2. Add 6.5 centimeters to the number. This number is the mid-parental height for boys. This number plus or minus 10 centimeters is the range in which you could expect your son to fall.
For girls: Take each parent’s height using centimeters and add them together. Divide that number by 2. Subtract 6.5 centimeters from the number if using metric. This number is the mid-parental height for girls. This number plus or minus 10 centimeters is the range in which you could expect your daughter to fall.
So I decided to do mine.
So basically Adrian akan fall somewhere dekat2 180cm lah. That if dia ikut gene Bapak dia, kalau dia ikut maknya maka, takda lah setinggi 180.
I tried calculation my parents height to check whether this is for real or memang tak masuk akalnya jawapan. It predict I’m supposed to be lower than I am now. Hmmm.
P/s: selamat hari raya aidiladha Adrian! Baju melayu Adrian kena cari letak kat mana ntah.
