>I felt like it’s the end of the world already.
Perth had one of the worst storm in 50 years last night. In the afternoon i read in twitter about the storm warning but i didn’t give a damn about it because it’s just simply Perth hasn’t had its rain since last summer. They usually predicted they’re going to be raining, but to no avail still no rain. That’s why i thought this is just another scam. Rif called me from work at 4pm telling his workplace’s roof is falling apart when the hailstorm had began there while my place’s still a bit cloudy. I could hear the hailed right through the phone. It IS scary! Luckily Rif called me, i did able to bring all the clothes hanging outside before the storm’s coming.
Anyway, it started with a rain, heavy ones and later i could feel like the one in P.Ramlee’s movie where he threw rocks on his gf’s window. Except this one isn’t rocks. Feeling scared, I quickly bring Adrian into our room, switched on the TV just to keep us feeling un-scared. I did keep watch outside the window from time to time and i saw our balcony is FLOODED with water! How i wish we didn’t have a balcony at that time. Our carpet now is a bit mushy due to the water. I haven’t seen Rif’s car but from what he told his window cracked and luckily the sunroof is OK. I’ll update more on his workshop pics.
I couldn’t take pictures during the storm as Adrian was crying because of the blackouts but i did snapped after the storm. The skies looks so low, it feels like it’s just above us.
